1. Mandatory Tights & Undergarments


To keep every costume looking clean and professional on stage:

✔ Required tights (no pantyhose)

✔ Body tights or tan leotards for quick changes and modesty

✔ Tights count as underwear — no underwear under tights

✔ Tiny Tots may wear a pull-up under their tights if needed


These help dancers feel confident, comfortable, and polished.


2. Hairstyle Requirements

Your dancer’s hairstyle matters—it helps create a uniform, professional stage look.


Tiny Tots:

  • Half-up, half-down

  • Hair piece placed on top of head


Preschool & Up:

  • Part down the middle

  • Low bun

  • Hair piece on dancer’s left side of bun


Pro Tips:

• Use gel + a little water to get a smooth, clean finish - our favorite gel is in the link!

• Bobby pins + a hair net that matches their hair color keep the bun perfect

• Pack extra elastics, bobby pins, and hairspray!


3. Make-Up (Simple & Age-Appropriate)


✨ Ages 6 and under are not required to wear mascara

✨ A neutral palette looks best under stage lights


Recommended:

  • Neutral smokey eye

  • Berry red lip

  • Blush

  • Eyeliner

  • Mascara (ages 7+)

  • Optional: false lashes for a full stage look

  • Lip stain helps avoid lipstick smudges on costumes


4. Dancer Earrings


Stud earrings (clip-on or pierced) complete the look! Simple, sparkly, and elegant.
